HomeIQ provides AI-assisted analysis of residential home inspection reports supplied by customers. The Service produces an informational dashboard summarizing the report.
2. Ownership of Your Reports
You retain all ownership of the inspection reports and other content you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload such content.
3. License to Process
You grant HomeIQ a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transmit, and analyze your uploaded files solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
4. Service Provided "As-Is"
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
5. No Guarantee of Accuracy
HomeIQ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis, recommendation, estimate, or other output produced by the Service. AI-generated findings may contain errors or omissions.
6. Customer Verification
You are solely responsible for independently verifying every recommendation, cost estimate, life expectancy projection, and finding produced by the Service before relying on it.
7. Not a Licensed Professional
HomeIQ is not a licensed home inspector, professional engineer, contractor, attorney, insurance agent, or financial advisor. The Service does not constitute professional inspection, engineering, legal, contracting, insurance, or financial advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOMEIQ'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC REPORT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL HOMEIQ BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, upload unlawful content, or attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive venue lies in the state and federal courts located in Connecticut.
11. Changes
